It is constructed with a solid steel spring loaded rim which ensures great strength and durability and is identical to what is used at pro level. The double strength backboard is a quarter-inch thick and is made from shatterproof polycarbonate. The hoop also comes equipped with foam padded brackets which is designed to protect the door and enables you to play without the annoyance of shaking, rattling or rolling.
